Lloyd Knibb was incredible. I may have a tape of him sitting in on 2 songs with my old group here in Boston back in 96. If I recall he played Mood for Ska and Rockfort Rock with us and it was seamless! Lloyd lived in Hull, Massachusetts which is about 40 minutes outside of Boston. Smoked many a spliff with him!

I saw Lloyd in the hospital about 2 days before he passed away. It was hard to see him in such a bad state. I remember him as such a strong, vibrant man and there he was doped up on morphine barely able to talk. The lastthing I heard him say was "don't let my music die". That is the honest truth.
